Remove the visibility hover function of the left hand menu and replace it with the ability to toggle that menu bar wide and slim or on and off.
When it's wide/on it can be static and shift the rest of the screen right. When it's off it's shown just as a slim tool bar down the left hand side.
Example of issue: Keyword Research
At present, when you highlight the previous keyword in the keyword search bar, to delete and type the next, the natural movement of the mouse is LEFT but it's constantly opening the menu. However, by then you have let go of the mouse to type the new keyword, but this leaves the open menu covering the search bar and you can't see what you're typing. To fix it each time, you have to reach to your mouse again to move the menu back, then go back to your keyboard again and continue. This is unnecessarily fiddling and when working long hours, it's frustrating.
I think the floating/hover function of the menu is cool in the right functionality but in this case it's unnecessary and more of a hinderance to work flow and feel of ease about using EverBee.
