Add Variation Indicators and Fix Calculation Displays in Shop Analysis Reports
under review

2x x2
I've discovered two significant issues when analyzing shop data that reduce the usability of EverBee's excellent reports:
Price vs. Revenue Discrepancies:
When products have variations, the calculations appear incorrect without explanation. For example, a product with price $128 and est_mo_sales of 1 shows est_mo_revenue of $1271. While your team explained this is due to variations, there's no way for users to know this without manually checking each listing.
Zero Monthly Sales with High Total Sales:
Some listings show est_mo_sales of 0 despite having significant est_total_sales. For example, one listing with est_total_sales of 71 over 43 months (averaging 1.65 sales per month) still shows est_mo_sales as 0.
* You can check the item in the report for PrintPunkStudio.
shop name: PrintPunkStudio(https://www.etsy.com/shop/PrintPunkStudio)
product name: "Cool Colorful Abstract FRAMED Art Print"
price: $128
est_mo_sales: 1
est_mo_revenue: $128
Suggested improvements:
- Add an indicator like "(includes variations)" in cells where the calculations don't match due to variations
- Adjust the calculation method to display more accurate monthly sales averages when there's clear historical data
- Consider adding a tooltip or small note in exports explaining these special cases
These improvements would prevent confusion and eliminate the need to manually verify each discrepancy, making your valuable data more immediately useful and actionable for users.

Hey 2x x2 -
I appreciate the detailed feedback! This is very helpful :)
Currently, Etsy doesn't share data on how many variations or types of variations the product has. I will double-check with the team if it is possible to display this info as a hover.
Regarding the Est. Monthly sales accuracy, I found many similar listings, but not the one you mentioned. However, I have updated all the shop's data.
